Hey guys!
I realized that I haven't actually done a "welcome" blog post yet. No time like the present, right? So, HELLO and WELCOME to my site, and my blog. Here, I'll be periodically posting about my life, or writing, likely a combination of both, with some updates and a spooky short story or two sprinkled in.
Let's start with an update. As we all know, 2020 has been a real mixed bag of nuts. Mostly the worst kind of nuts. But it's also been a time for real introspection, for growth and change. In addition, since the pandemic has been keeping most of us home much more than normal, it's also given me the time and the kick in the pants I needed to get my writing off the ground. I have so many stories to share, you guys, and I'm thrilled to finally be able to share them with you.
EVERHAVEN, my debut Young Adult Fantasy/Paranormal novel, is slated for a late August release on Amazon. This book is my baby, and it's seen many iterations over the past seven years. You heard that right, seven years. I'd say it's high time to get its day in the sun, no? I sure think so, and I hope you agree.
In the meantime, I'm keeping busy by finishing up my next YA paranormal novel, HAWNT, slated for a late Fall release. I'm also working on getting my newsletter up and running, as well as putting the last touches on another YA horror short story that I'll be sharing with all of you soon. Phew! There's a lot coming down the pike, and I'll be sure to keep you posted on all of it.
Until then, stay safe, stay healthy, and as Philly cream cheese would say, "Spread a little love today". (We can all use a bit more of that these days. Love. Not cream cheese. Although I wouldn't turn down cream cheese, either.)
